Ottawa South United are proud and excited to announce their new Game Leader Program. 

The recruitment of new match officials and game leaders was a key focus for OSU this past off-season, and the plans have been fruitful. With the first introduction of the Game Leaders program, the club has welcomed 35 new Game Leaders, mostly between the ages of 12-15 years old.

These Game Leaders will now be able to ensure that players in the U6 to U8 age ranges, will have a safe and fun experience in the small-sided games.  Their role is to use simplified rules and help these young players understand the game of soccer, while gaining leadership experience. The club will work with them throughout the summer, with a view to encouraging them to consider full match
