1. What is a Trial Permit?
A Trial Permit allows an unregistered player to play 2 games on a specified team within a club on a Trial basis.
2. Who can get a Trial Permit?
A player can only get a Trial Permit if they are not registered with any other soccer club this season.
3. How many Trial Permits can I have in a season?
A player can have 2 Trial Permits in a season but each must be with a different soccer club.
4. When does the Trial Permit expire?
Trial Permits are good for 15 days and allow you to play 2 games within that 15 day period. The same rules apply for a tournament and it will only allow you to play in 2 games of the tournament. Trial Permits are not valid after July 31st.
5. Can two Trial Permits overlap?
Your first Trial Permit must expire before you can get a second one.
6. How much does a Trial Permit cost?
The cost of the Trial Permit is $5. If you do not have a valid player ID card there is another $2 charge to issue a card.
7. When does it become effective?
A Trial Permit is like a regular registration and does not become effective until the following day. This means you must get the Trial Permit processed ONE DAY BEFORE your first game.
8. Which leagues can I get a Trial Permit for?
Each league has their own rules as to which levels allow for Trial Permits. Please see the league rules to verify if the level you will be playing allows for Trial Permits.
